BBC Parliament to rerun 1959 election coverage

Tomorrow evening, starting at 7 p.m., is showing the BBC's original coverage of the 1959 general election. It is brought to you by Richard Dimbleby, David Dimbleby (an amazing coincidence there), Alan Wicker and Cliff Michelmore.

Loved the drunk Welsh fellow. And the self-parodical journalist covering the Hammersmith count, the only one with one of those joke 50s accents.
And how stunningly un media friendly the top politicians were. Especially Lord Hailsham and Gaitskell, Macmillan slightly less so.
