Christopher Townsend chosen as Lib Dem PPC for South-West Hertfordshire

The Watford Observer reports:

The Liberal Democrats have selected their candidate to stand for election to Westminster in the South-West Herts constituency.

Councillor Christopher Townsend, who represents Tring West and Rural for Dacorum Borough Council, has been chosen to stand against incumbent Conservative MP David Gauke at the next General Election.

Wikipedia describes the constituency:
This seat forms a thin strip along the south-west border of Hertfordshire from South Oxhey (near Watford) in the south, through the countryside areas of Bovingdon and Berkhamsted to Tring in the north. Other towns in the constituency include Chipperfield, Chorleywood, Croxley Green, Moor Park, and Rickmansworth.
