Six of the Best 34

Love and Liberty brings you Nick Clegg's and Vince Cable's answers to the question "Why vote Lib Dem?"

Writing for the International Business Times (get him!), Stephen Tall looks at the Tories' tendency to forget the deficit and promise another tax cut every time they come under pressure.

Meanwhile, Birkdale Focus discuss the Tories' problems in Southport: "remember the days when there 18 Tories and only 3 Lib Dems councillors in Southport. Today there are only six Tories and one of them is suspended, another has been suspended and the last leader got so fed up with the nasty infighting he joined the Labour Party!"

Craig Murray counsels us not to ridicule Obama and Medvedev's signing of a new START treaty.

This blog does not share the obsession with Doctor Who that many of its Liberal Democrat fellows do. However, this article from British Television Drama draws parallels with the Powell and Pressburger film A Matter of Life and Death, so that is different.

Finally, On the Way to Stornoway walks from Northampton to Market Harborough along the old railway line - now the Brampton Valley Way.

Well, thanks for the link to my Blog.

You do know that I am a Labour voter though?

Why on earth does that matter?

Doesn't matter at all. I just thought I should mention it because of the big Liberal England banner at the top of the page.

Don't want anyone blaming me for the coalitions slash and burn orgy, after all!
