The man is a star - how long before he's elevated to the Lords?

He is indeed a star, he's the reason I joined the party and one of the main reasons (since the loss of Penhallagon) that Cornwall is (or was) a Lib Dem stronghold.

He said he would stand down a long time ago.. I feel for the guy, he wanted to spend more time with his new kids (one of whom is very ill) and must surely be a bit miffed that he can't do that yet.
