Nick Clegg at De Monfort Univeristy

Earlier I linked to the BBC report of this morning's visit from the Liberal Democrat leader.

There is a fuller one on the Leicester community news website Citizens' Eye:
Hundreds of students, press and party supporters turned out to man of the moment, Nick Clegg, as his campaign bus rolled into De Montfort University this morning.
The large crowd listened to the Liberal Democrat leader pledge to bring fairness back to politics by putting bigger taxes on London bankers.
He also said he would clean up the political system by slashing the size of the House of Lords.
He said: “There are huge loopholes in the tax system that you can only benefit from if you are wealthy enough to own a football team.
“It is simply wrong that a multi millionaire from the city of London can pay a lower rate of tax on their income than a cleaner does on their wages.”
